A monthly crime review meeting was held in Deoghar on Friday under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Praveen Pushkar. The meeting reviewed cases registered across different police stations, the disposal of old cases and the status of pending investigations. Police station in-charges briefed the SP about the law-and-order situation in their respective areas. The meeting also discussed shortcomings observed during the Shravan Mela and ways to improve arrangements in the future. Officers were directed to focus on pending cases, crime prevention and timely investigation.
